After several unresultful years with previous bands and projects that went into vain due to
lack
of musical vision and ideological seriousness, Solium XI was raised from total nought in the late
summer 2004 abd.
The bands musical genre could be called black metal combined with lots of other elements. But
genres exist only in mind and if considered in a fault sense they restrict the artist inside self-built
frames. Instead, one should seek total separation from all restrictions.
Solium XI intends - through the black magic of music - affect subliminally and consciously
ourselves and those who are exposed under our propaganda. Not by writing art that is easily
perceivable and appealing to masses, but by creating soundscapes that are, for example, chaotic,
dissonic and in harmony with Adversarial currents. This demands receptiveness and
concentration from the listener to fully understand the hidden message.
This most ancient method of using music as a ritual/weapon may and will cause notable changes
both inside and outside. Such an unorthodox - yet effective - approach also means that music is
nothing separate compared to its performer/composer but only an audial "extension".
However, possibilities of music (or any other art) should not be overvaluated. In order to reach
those goals that are most desirable and noble, other actions need to be applied!
Despite the fact that we have been struggling with numerous setbacks and unstable line-up during
these years with this morbid spawn, nothing will prevent us from fulfilling the spiritual aims that
now partially manifest through Solium XI and the end that is foreseen...
The release of the first full-length Litanies unto Adversary concludes the first part of the mission,
and this dreadful path of sonic terror will continue as long as it is found useful.
Beyond the finite the circle is closed, alpha drawn back to its primeval source.
